In the photo gallery prepared, you have the opportunity to see the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG model released recently. The Germans will complete the S-Class range with three important new models in the near future and here we are actually talking about the S600 powered by a V12 engine, about the S65 AMG and also about the S500 plug-in hybrid. Car&Drive offered a report that said that the carmaker will present for the first time the S 65 AMG at the Los Angeles Auto Show that will take place in November. As we all know, the previous version of the S65 AMG was capable of generating 612 horsepower.
The new model is expected to have a slight bump in output and around 200 pounds less weight, according to the specialists. We do have to wait a few more months to know for sure. The reduction of the weight will actually translate into faster acceleration. This means it will be capable of speeding from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. Under the hood will hide a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 unit. Next year in January, the Germans will present another model at the Detroit Motor Show, the range topping S600 powered by a 6.0-liter V12 unit. The bad news is that we do not have any information on the output, yet.
Please enjoy the photo gallery we have prepared for you and do not go very far as soon we will come with fresh, new details on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and its interesting models the engineers are working on for all of us. They are trying to make more people feel drawn to the new models even if before other carmaker managed to convince us to buy their cars.
