Mitsubishi Attrage

In case you do not know yet, Mitsubishi will introduce a production version of its new small sedan called Attrage after previewing the G4 sedan concept model at the Shanghai Auto Show in April and at the Bangkok International Motor Show that took place month earlier, in March. The model is actually the sedan sibling of the new Mirage supermini and it has been developed especially for buyers on a budget and will be available in different markets and regions all around the globe. When we say globe, we also include Europe, Asia. It will also be available in the US starting this fall. The carmaker calls it the next-generation global sedan. We will know the precise date a bit later, but we will let you know as soon as the carmaker releases mode info.

In terms of styling, you should know that there are several differences in comparison to the G4 concept and are being limited to the conventional head-, tail- and fog-lamp fixtures. We will also see several differences in terms of front grille, smaller alloy wheels and so that you know, there will not be an aero kit. We have to admit the final product is a bit strange and it will be awkward to look at, just like in the case of the Nissan Versa sedan. This unit is actually 295 mm longer than the Mitsubishi model that measures 4.095 mm. the new Nissan Attrage receives power from a 1.2-liter MIVEC gasoline engine which is then being transferred to the wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT. In terms of fuel consumption it can reach 22 km/liter on a combine cycle which is equivalent to 51.7 mpg in the US. The new Attrage will be produced in Thailand and there is where it will be revealed for the first time in July. Other markets will receive it in 2014.
