Mitsubishi has big plans for the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Sow that will take place before the end of this month. The Asians plan to introduce the 2014 Outlander and the very attractive 2013 Outlander Sport Limited Edition.
The 2014 model emphasizes exterior aerodynamic efficiency together with a new engine equipped with a new version of their advanced MIVEC continuously-variable valve lift timing system to increase fuel economy. In terms of technology the model received Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, but also Adaptive Cruise Control. The specialists have tried to increase the level of efficiency, safety, comfort and convenience in the compact SUV segment. The 2013 Outlander Sport Limited Edition celebrates 30 years of Mitsubishi Motors on the North American market. According to many, this is the most dynamic-looking compact crossover vehicle available in the segment, maybe because of the center bumper, wheel arch trim and roof rails, blackout side mirrors and the dark-chrome alloy wheels and Limited Edition badges. The carmaker said it has fitted a new balance shaft to make the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder unit a smoother operator.
Beside the two models mentioned above, Mitsubishi specialists will also highlight other development during the presentation that will take place on the 29th of November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. For the ones of you who do not know, Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., is responsible for all manufacturing, sales, marketing, development and research operations for Mitsubishi Motors in the US. Last year in November, the manufacturer launched the battery-powered electric vehicle Mitsubishi i-MiEV to offer consumers more environmentally responsible modes of transportation. This is all we have for you for now, but do not go very far.
