Nissan GT-R

The 2013 Nissan GT-R is scheduled to go on sale on November 24, then hitting the European showrooms in January 2012. It boasts an increased power output to 550 PS, as well as better fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions. Its major changes include improvements which focus on the chassis, engine and transmission, together with a new lightweight ,,For TRACK PACK,, version, emphasizing the genuine performance potential of the GT-R. It comprises revised suspension settings, extra brake cooling, and aluminum-alloy wheels from Spec-V made by Rays. This latest version of the GT-R is expected to be the most efficient, providing the driver and passengers the highest levels of excitement and driving pleasure. The newly developed asymmetric suspension is meant to compensate the greater weight on the driver's side in RHD models, while the stronger body and enhanced transmission ensure better handling and extra rigidity. The improvements in engine response and torque at mid- and low-speeds are the result of better air flow resistance, due to a more compact under floor catalyzer which improves emissions efficiency and reduces weight. The strengthened design of the shift fork arm and a firmer fixing bearing for the flywheel housing, have refined the shift feels and quietness. The driver enjoys high quality materials, which result in a sophisticated atmosphere in the cockpit. Quilted fabric mats replaced the rear seats in order to reduce the car's weight.
