Time has come for the Japanese carmaker Nissan to present more details on its new achievement, the 2013 Note compact car. The model is planned to be officially debuted in September at the Paris Motor Show. At a first look we can see that in terms of aerodynamics it has a prominent grille and a sloping roofline. When it comes to the interior, the new 2013 Nissan Note features a lot of hard plastic and it can be equipped with an electronic climate control system, an Around View Monitor and GPS navigation.
The carmaker wants to turn it into the most user-friendly car in the segment and its full potential will be tested this fall when it goes on sale in Japan. Thanks to the advanced engine technology, improved aerodynamics and a lightweight platform, the new Nissan Note will reach incredible levels of CO2 emissions and fuel efficiency. The aerodynamic elements combine to provide a feeling of complexity and dynamism.
The Japanese carmaker offers new engines available for the Note: a new supercharged HR12DDR and the HR12DE. The incredible fuel efficiency mentioned above is possible thanks to the lightweight next-generation XTRONIC Continuously Variable Transmission and the Idling Stop System for 2WD. The direct injection DIG-S engine provides a pleasant driving experience and also contributes to the fuel economy. So far, the Japanese carmaker Nissan managed to sell 940.000 units of the Note. The place where the model will be built is at Nissan Motor Kyushu. The models prepared for the European customers will be built in the UK and next year is when they will be released. These are all the information offered by the Japanese carmaker so far.
