Nissan Sentra NISMO Concept

Japanese carmaker Nissan continues to expand the NISMO line-up with a lot of performance models. At the 2013 edition of the Los Angeles Auto Show, Nissan has presented for the first time the Nissan Sentra NISMO Concept which is being built on the solid foundation of the latest generation Nissan Sentra. This actually creates equilibrium of premium style, innovative technology and fuel-efficient performance. The engineers have offered enhanced aerodynamic performance, NISMO-tuned suspension, steering and transmission and engaging cockpit inspired from the motorcycle style.

The model receives power from a 1.8-liter direct injection turbocharged engine capable of generating more than 240 horsepower and 240 lb. ft. of torque. All this output is being transferred to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. A custom rear spoiler completes the look and so that you know all lights on the vehicle feature a smoked look. For the exterior, the carmaker offered a specially made Bright Pearl White. The side door mirror covers, font splitter and rear diffuser come with a high-gloss finish, genuine carbon fibre diagonal pattern. Under the hood we can also find a 1.8-lite DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine capable of generating 130 horsepower.

To transfer the output to the road, the engineers have offered a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential just to make sure the power reaches the surface of the road. The package is completed by 19-inch RAYS aluminium-alloy wheels mounted with 225 / 35R19 Michelin Super Sport performance tires and to increase the safety, the specialists have also considered installing red-painted 370Z Brembo brake callipers.
