Nissan Terrano

Nissan has just presented the new compact SUV Terrano. The premium edition showcase location is Mumbai, India. The positioning of the event was especially selected as the Nissan Terrano has been developed specifically for the Indian market and will go on sale across India this year in October. The model will be manufactured locally in Nissan’s Oragadam Plant alongside Sunny, Micra and Evalia. The 2013 Terrano has to continue the legacy left by its predecessors that were very appreciated by the customers for comfort, styling and performance since the first model was first launched in 1986.

The exterior style looks very similar to Dacia Duster and very likely that we will find some of these features on the new Duster facelift scheduled to be presented next month on the Internationale Automobil Ausstellung. Terrano’s distinct exterior presence is emphasized by the specific Nissan grille. The model’s front-end bears the signature of the Nissan’s V-Motion design while chrome finished grille gives the vehicle a dominating feature and the four-pod design headlamps cast a deep-set eye impression and feature sleek, integrated turn signals.

What customers will appreciate on the 2013 Nissan Terrano is the premium interior design. The interior comes with a piano black centre console, a light-colored beige cabin that adds to the feel of roominess, a new steering wheel, many storage rooms and new audio system. Technical details include the same known power units, the 1.5-liter dCi engine that is available both with 85 bhp (63 kW) and 110 bhp (82 kW) and the 1.6-liter gasoline engine that develops 105 bhp (78 kW).
