Opel revealed a new model, their latest achievement, the new Opel Cascada, a model which is now available for order. The carmaker announced that the price will start at EUR24.945. We will have the opportunity to see it for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show that will be held in March and it will be available in dealerships starting the next month, April. The new mid-size class convertible boasts open-air driving fun in premium quality thanks to its design, technologies and equipment.
The Opel Cascada Edition has a starting price of EUR25.945 and features as standard a wide range of equipment and state-of-the-art technologies. One of the center pieces id the taut electric soft top which can be opened at the press of a button at speeds of up to 50 km/h in 17 seconds. When the car stands still the drive can do this using a remote control. In terms of technology, the car features on the front axle the High Performance Strut suspension offering great traction and driving fun. There is more, of course. The new Opel Cascada comes with a luggage compartment load volume of 280 liters with the roof open and up to 380 liters when the soft top is closed. The model offers very comfortable operation features like for example the FlexFold system that electrically releases and folds down the 50:50 split rear seat back rests. The engineers also offer as standard light alloy wheels, rear lights in LED technology, a leather steering wheel and a Morrocana wrapped instrument panel. The entry-level model receives power from a 1.4-liter gasoline Turbo engine capable of generating 120 horsepower and it uses a 6-speed manual gearbox to send them to the wheels. The price for this model reaches EUR28.245. The other option is the 1.6-liter SIDI Turbo capable of producing 170 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque.
