Opel Mokka by Steinmetz

There are at least as many tuning companies in the auto field as the car manufacturers. Each one tries to be the best, no matter the means they use. Some of them focus only on one or two car types. Among these, we have the German tuning company, Steinmetz. And if it’s German, why not choose to work on a German brand? And they declare faithful to the Opel branded vehicles. The latest project coming from the Steinmetz is a new styling program developed for the Opel Mokka.

Steinmetz equipped the Opel Mokka with a new front grille and a front bumper guard. Leaving behind the frontal part of the vehicle, we discover tubular side steps and chrome plated handles. The tuner also offers the chance of a car lowering by 25mm. A set of 19 inch alloy wheels can be ordered, as well as a new sports exhaust system. When it comes down to the inside of the car, the changes are not that many. Worth mentioning are just the Steinmetz branded floor mats and that will be all.

The Opel Mokka comes out the factory gates in three engine configurations. It is powered by a 1.6-liter petrol with 115 HP (85 kW), a turbocharged 1.4-liter petrol with 140 HP (103 kW) and a 1.7-liter CDTI diesel with 130 HP (93 kW). It seems that Steinmetz has nothing to add to these figures so it is expected that the engines remain the same. Take a look at the tuned vehicle and decide for yourself if it is a successful one or not.
