Pagani Zonda Revolution

We have news coming from Pagani Automobili. The specialists have unveiled a new special edition and as it turns out it is the final version of the Zonda. Its name was established to be Pagani Zonda Revolution. It has as base the Zonda R and it is a track-only car that has a central monocoque made from carbon-titanium that helps keep the weight of the car close to 1.000 kg. Under the hood it hides an AMG Mercedes engine which is actually an evolution of the Zonda R power plant. To be more precise, we are talking about a 6.0-liter V12 unit capable of generating 800 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque. These features translate into a power to weight ratio of 748 horsepower per ton. To transfer the output to the wheels, the engineers have offered a 6-speed magnesium transversal sequential transmission that has the capability of changing gears in 20 milliseconds, which is quite impressive if you ask us.

According to the founder of the company, the Zonda Revolution is the fastest Pagani vehicle ever. The bad thing is that there are no performance figures available for the moment. We only know that the model is faster than the Pagani Zonda R which is already the fastest non-road homologated car with a lap time of 6 minutes and 47.5 seconds. In order for the drivers to feel safe inside, the engineers have offered the Bosch traction control system that has 12 different settings. The ABS allows the driver to adapt the behavior of the car to his driving style. The model comes with aerodynamic updates like new deflectors on the front bonnet, but also a vertical stabilizer mounted on the rear bonnet. The car sports a Drag Reduction System on the rear wing. By holding down the DRS Button for more than two seconds, the automatic mode is activated.
