French carmaker Peugeot has announced the UK price for their 2008 crossover. The model has a starting price of GBP12.995, according to the carmaker and will be launched officially on the 18th of July. It offers the perfect blend of contemporary styling, efficient low CO2 engines, a versatile cabin design, class leading technology and a lot more. This new range includes four trim levels like: Access+, Active, Allure & Feline. The model has competitive and progressive pricing, the difference between the new model and the 208 being of less than GBP1.000. The CO2 emission level reaches 98 g/km and the fuel consumption on a combine cycle is 74.3 mpg. Under the hood it hides a 3-cylinder VTi petrol engine capable of generating 82 BHP which was introduced on the 208. The new Peugeot 2008 crossover comes with four badge levels, six engine choices, six alloy wheel designs and seven trim environments. The list continues with eight colors and 18 options to choose from.
The Access model can cost up to GBP14.295 and it can be powered by a 1.2-liter VTi petrol capable of generating 82 BHP or by a 70 BHP 1.4-liter HDi diesel unit. On the outside it comes with LED Daytime running lights, color coded door mirrors and door handles and also roof bars. In order to offer more comfort, the carmaker has also provided electric front windows, remote controlled central locking, cruise control with speed limiter, electrically operated and heated door mirrors, height and reach adjustable steering wheel.
The Active model can cost up to GBP16.445 and it has 4 options in terms of engine. When it comes to entertainment, the engineers have offered multifunction color Touchscreen, USB input for external audio device, Bluetooth connectivity and DAB Digital radio. The Allure can cost up to GBP17.695.
