The Peugeot 208 T16 was especially developed and built be Peugeot Sport. This model represents the return of the company to the classic American event.

We first heard of this project three weeks ago, but now that best part follows: the unveiling of the model Sebastien Loeb will use to win in Colorado. On the outside it looks a lot like the concept version, but the interior was designed and engineered to meet the specific needs of the famous American event.
The driver has taken a step back from world class rallying after dominating the World Rally Championship for almost 10 years, but he is now keen to turn his attention towards new challenges. The driver will have to get use fast with the difference of altitude and we are talking about 1.500 meters in 20 km. As mentioned above, the finish line is situated at an altitude of 4.301 meters. The carmaker describes the model as being aggressive, racy and ferocious, qualities that actually come in handy in the highest motorsport event in the world that will start on the 30th of June. The Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak includes all the distinctive hallmarks of the 208 which itself marks a new generation of Peugeot design.
