Peugeot 308

Famous worldwide with over 60 million vehicles sold throughout the planet, Peugeot has been combining excellence and emotion for over 200 years. The company has just revealed their new concept Peugeot 308, which has a refined design and an innovative cockpit for unique driving sensations.

The new Peugeot 308 is based on the PSA developed EMP2 platform. The sizes featuring this model are a length of 4.25 meters, a height of 1.46, and this can be translated in one way: the 308 model is shorter and lower than the previous Peugeot model. It also lost about 140 kg of weights compared to its predecessor. The engine space was lowered so the 308 has a sharper front end design. The available space in the trunks also increased to 470 liters. The friendlier versions of the 308 have CO2 emissions of just 85 g/km.

The new Peugeot 308 keeps on the exterior some elements from the Peugeot 208 model. The “i-cockpit” technique is the one ruling the interior cabin. Technology is not something that misses from the 308, the vehicle having a central console with a 9.7 inch touch screen that is used instead a great number of traditional buttons. The car will enter production in France, Sochaux. It will be introduced at Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and that is the point when sale will start.
