Peugeot is certainly the most famous French car manufacturer in the world. It has more than 60 million vehicles sold on the entire planet. The brand is a successful one mostly because it tries to reunite excellence and emotion in its vehicles. And it is precisely this reunion that also characterizes the Peugeot 5008 facelift that is about to be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
It is already a fact that Peugeot will present the updated 308, a brand new 308 R concept and the 208 hybrid Fe concept. The introduction of the Peugeot 5008 facelift, however, comes a small surprise form the manufacturer. The vehicle will feature a front fascia with a floating grille between the two headlights, some chrome elements on the sides and it will offer the client the possibility of choosing between 16, 17 or 18 inches alloy wheels. With this car, novelties are being brought only to the front part, the back remaining unchanged.
The Peugeot 5008 facelift will only have a few changes. The most important of them are two seven inch colour screens placed in the head restraints. They come together with Bluetooth headphones and the package also includes a connection console that can serve as a support for audio and video equipment. Some other technologies are available, too, making the driving experience easier. There are eight types of engines powering the model, four diesels and four gasoline engines. The gas engines begin from a 1.6-liter VTi with 120 bhp (89 kW) to a 1.6-liter THP generating 163 bhp (121 kW), while the diesels start from the 1.6-liter e-HDi FAP with 115 bhp (85 kW), reaching to an 163 bhp (121 kW) output coming from a 2.0-liter HDi FAP. The 5008 model is unique among the products in its segment, having fluid and elegant style as well as dynamic qualities.
