French carmaker Peugeot has a lot of models prepared for the 2012 Paris Motor Show. We already know about the Onyx and the 2008 and the fact that these two will be present there, but now, according to different Peugeot officials, the specialists have developed a facelift version of the RCZ. Apparently this new and improved model will be available in dealerships starting the first few months on next year. To be more precise, the facelift version RCZ has a new front look as the grille is smaller now. The front bumper was also modified in terms of design hosting LED DRLs and the headlamps that were also reshaped.
In terms of engine, the carmaker offers three different choices. The first one is a 1.6-liter THP capable of developing 156 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque, then we have a 2.0-liter HDi 163 FAP capable of generating 163 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque and in the end, there is the most powerful of them all, the 1.6-liter THP 200 that offers an output of 200 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque. To send the power to the wheels, the carmaker uses either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox for the 1.6-liter THP 156 and a 6-speed manual gearbox for the 2.0-liter and the 1.6-liter THP 200.
It uses a tuned suspension and tuned wheels coming from Platform Two. In terms of equipment, the new Peugeot RCZ will feature the Connect Navigation system that was first offered to the 508 models. This includes Bluetooth support, jack and USB socket, and a three-tuner radio with two aerials. The system also includes a 7-inch navigation screen a CD / MP3. When it comes to standard equipment, the model will feature automatic wipers, automatic headlamps, an acoustic windscreen and a lot of other elements that make it better. The RCZ combines elegance, sportiness, power and fluidity, style and refinement. Until now, the Peugeot RCZ has already created a desirable following with strong sales, incredible press coverage and great results in competitions. It managed to win different awards for its desirability, design and performance. The facelift version will be available in eight colors.
