Porsche 911 Anniversary Edition

Porsche is a unique German company with powerful principles for which building sports cars has become an art.  Porsche is the appropriate name when it comes to sports cars regarded as masterpieces. It is one of the most complex companies with strong ideals of making art, not just building cars.  Every sports car they manufacture is different from any other sports cars existent on the market. And now a new strike is being planned. It is the Porsche 911 Anniversary Edition.

The Porsche 911 Anniversary Edition is destined to mark 50 years of existence and it will be introduced on the occasion of the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. This special edition has as a starting point the Porsche 911 Carrera S. the edition will be limited at 1963 models, this number representing the year when the first original model was shown to the wide world.  The vehicle will be equipped with chrome trim strips on the front air inlets, being placed between the taillights and on the engine compartment grille. The German company decided to release the model in two unique colors: lighter geyser grey metallic and darker graphite grey. They will be paired with the already available black monochrome.

The Porsche 911 will be powered by a 6 cylinder, 3.8-liter boxer engine that generates 400 HP (294 kW). This enables the vehicle to go from stand to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds or in 4.3s with the PDK. It can run up to a peak speed of 300 km/h (298 km/h with PDK).  The fuel consumption is 9.5 liters / 100 km, releasing CO2 emissions of 224 g/km.  When PDK-equipped, the model uses 8.7 liters / 100 and has 205 g/km CO2 emissions. The car will be found in the Porsche delears right after the Frankfurt Motor Show and its starting price in Germany begins from 121,119 EUR (VAT included).
