Porsche is a unique German company with powerful principles for which building sports cars has become an art. Based on their 997 model, the manufacturer has updated and revealed the Porsche 911 GT3. New technical details have been presented in a promotional video clip for the model.
The latest version of the Porsche 911 GT3 has been introduced at the beginning of 2013 in the Geneva Motor Show. It is a premiere for Porsche, since the car is the first one of the German fleet to offer an active rear wheel steering system that at low speeds steers the rear wheels in the opposite direction of the front ones, and at high speeds the rear wheels are steered in the same direction.
The Porsche 911 GT3 R is powered by a 6 cylinder, 3.8-liter boxer engine that generates 475 HP (349 kW) and 438 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. The engine works together with a dual-clutch seven-speed gearbox. The awesome vehicle sprints from stand point to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.5 minutes and it will do 195 mph (315 km/h). The supercar will go on sale starting this August and the starting price is of 137,303 EUR (VAT included). However, there will be many fans that can’t wait to buy one of these vehicles.
