Aftermarket specialists from Techart have developed a customization program for the 2013 Porsche Boxster. They plan to introduce it at the 2012 Essen Motor Show in December, but apparently we had access to some of the information ahead of its official debut. Some of the modifications are very predictable. Let us take for example the 21-inch Formula light alloy wheels with a 5-spoke design.
The engineers also offer the Formula III forged wheels that have a dynamic double spoke design. Because of their forged alloy configuration, actually these wheels are up to 40 % lighter in comparison with the stock wheels. Moving forward, we have the twin tailpipes of the new Porsche Boxster which are made of stainless steel and which can also be fitted with a specially made muffler. The aftermarket specialists might also install the complete sport exhaust system with valve control. This is not all Techart has to offer. They have developed another package, a sport spring kit to be more precise. This new feature lowers the ride by 30 mm at the front and 20 mm at the back.
In terms of interior and if the customer requests it, the cabin can be equipped with a carbon fiber package, different leather options and decorative stitching. The engineers have also provided specially made paddle shifters and three-spoke steering wheels. All these elements make the new Porsche Boxster an individual touch, making it easy to recognize. For those of you who are really interested in finding out more about the Techart Aerodynamic Kit developed for the Porsche Boxster, you should know that the premiere will take place on the 1st of December and you can ask for details during the Motor Show as it will last until the 12th. The Porsche Boxster can be found in hall 3 of the Show.
