A lot of details on the Porsche Macan were revealed. It seems that the entry-level will be powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine capable of developing 220 horsepower. All the output will enable the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 230 km/h. The Macan S features a 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine capable of developing 295 horsepower. This variant is for the ones that want more power. The diesel options include a 2.0-liter TDI capable of developing 190 horsepower and a 3.0-liter V6 capable of producing 250 horsepower. Now, the Turbo variant will be powered by a 3.0-liter V6 petrol unit capable of delivering 370 horsepower and 542 Nm of torque. The 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder hybrid version will produce 208 horsepower and another 54 horsepower with an electric motor. Last, but not least, there is the possibility the carmaker will also offer a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 diesel capable of developing 309 horsepower. To improve handling the carmaker will may offer a unique all-wheel drive system with torque vectoring.
