Not long ago, French carmaker Renault has released a mildly revised Koleos at the International Buenos Aires Motor Show that was held in Argentina. According to the carmaker, the new crossover models come with the latest identity of the brand. Of course, the changes are not very obvious, especially in comparison to the facelift version released back in 2011, but still is something. Even so, the most visible modification is the redesigned V-shaped grille that has also received a larger rhombus logo. The front end remained the same, with no changes made and so is the rear.
The new Renault Koleos did get redesigned two-tone wheels, a chrome finish for the side protective strips and also a new body color called Ebony Brown. For the interior, the specialists have offered new trim and in the case of the display model, there is new available brown leather upholstery to match the Ebony Brown exterior finish. The new SUV will also come with new equipment including the R-Link multimedia system with a 7-inch touch screen display and the Blind Spot Warning system. This visually alerts the driver whenever a vehicle is detected in the blind spot.
This feature will come in very handy for all drivers and other traffic participants. Moving on, we also have to mention the reversing camera, the hands-free card, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control functions and also here we have a Bose audio system. The ones interested in the model should know that it comes with front- or four-wheel drive choices. In terms of engine options, the model comes with two diesel units and a petrol engine depending on the market. There is a 2.0-liter dCi capable of generating 150 horsepower and 175 horsepower and there is also a 2.5-liter petrol engine with 170 horsepower as output.
