Renault Scenic and Renault Grand Scenic

Renault wants to be recognized by its customers and the public at large in all regions and market segments as one of the world’s top automakers for the quality of its products and services. Two of the company’s key models are the Renault Scenic and the Renault Grand Scenic and both of them have just been green lighted for a limited production.

The two Renault Scenic models feature a revised exterior, based on the Expression trim package. The cars are equipped with tinted rear windows, dark metal mirrors and body color protective mouldings. The special edition vehicles have rear parking sensors, roof rails (on Renault Grand Scenic) and they ride on a set of 16-inch alloy wheels that come with a dark metal finish. The inside changes are not that many. However, the two Renaults feature a leather covered steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, an electric parking brake and a sliding center console. Renault Scenic and Grand Scenic are the first vehicles in the Renault range to feature the Visio System. This system helps to keep the driver alert and improve visibility at night through two functions. The first one, a lane departure warning function: a camera detects traffic lane markings and sounds an alarm if the driver accidentally strays over the lines. The second one, an automatic headlight function, in which the same camera detects the lights from nearby vehicles and/or the presence of street lighting and automatically adapts vehicle lighting in consequence (from main to dipped beam or vice versa).

Power that comes within under the hood is provided by three types of engines. These are a dCi 95, a dCi 110 and an Energy TCe 115. The Renault Scenic and the Renault Grand Scenic will be available for sale starting June. The lowest price will be somewhere around €19,990.
