Range Rover by Startech

The German tuning company of the Brabus Group, Startech, wants to hit Geneva Motor Show with its latest work, that is on a Range Rover. Just a week before the show everyone is expecting, some details are made public.

Speaking of the Range Rover’ s exterior body, it has a Startech front element which is can be equipped with integrated LED daytime running lights or with LED position lights featuring an identical design. The new front fascia with an integrated spoiler also possesses the smallest LED fog lights currently on the market. The rear bumper of this car has a sporty diffuser which does not affect the trailer hitch.

Startech offers a sporty-elegant design program. Among others this implies Startech 22-inch wheels available in a variety of designs and colours, a stainless steel exhaust system. In addition, the product also includes a ride-height lowering module which reduces the ride height by about 30 millimeters. The lowered center of gravity makes vehicle handling even safer and more agile. When the 4x4 vehicle is stationed or in off-road mode, the vehicle remains at the production ride height.

On the inside, the Range Rover by Startech is provided with a number of new things. It has leather and Alcantara seats, exotic wood or carbon fiber trim, a yachting-inspired trunk floor. There are, of course, some exclusivist addings such as aluminum pedals, illuminated scuff plates and electrically folding rear tables with wood, carbon fiber or leather tops.

The 3.0-liter LR-TDV6 diesel engine has been upgraded using the SD 30S package and now has a greater performance. The new car “heart” working together with the eight-speed automatic transmission realise a 7.3 seconds sprint time from 0-100km/h a drop from 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 220km/h. The diesel power produces 300 HP (221 kW) and 685 Nm (505 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 42 HP (31 kW) and 85 Nm (63 lb-ft).
