Finally Scion offered more details on their new achievement, the 2012 Scion tC Release Series 8.0. Apparently the model will have a starting price of $21.815 and here they will add another $730 fee for destination in the case of the one equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission and another $1.050 for the one with the automatic transmission. The carmaker will only build 2.000 units and they will all be painted in Absolutely Red.
In terms of equipment, Scion equips the 2012 Scion tC Release Series 8.0 with gloss black side mirrors, a full body kit developed by Five Axis Design which includes the spoiler and black alloy wheel. Toyota Racing Development offered springs to lower the ride and also a center-outlet exhaust system. This is an easier way to give the car some mechanical upgrades that can only come in handy. The models equipped with the automatic transmission will receive steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. In terms of interior, the 2012 Scion tC Release Series 8.0 gets red contrasting stitching on the seats and also a steering wheel wrapped in leather.
Also there will also be an individual number badge that indicates the unique model. The delivery, processing and handling fee can be different depending on the distributor, Southheast Toyota or Gulf States Toyota. These are all the information available so far, but stay tuned for more.
