Seat Leon SC by JE Design

You have to be pretty good to survive in the changing world of auto tuning. Many of the tuning companies manage to do that because they specialize on certain brands and they aim only the fans of those brands. So is the JE Design. The German tuning firm is involved in the development and the distribution of vehicle tuning parts for Volkswagen, Audi and Seat. More specifically, the staff there focuses on the car styling and on improving aerodynamics according to some special methods. The latest tuning pack coming from them is for the 2013 Seat Leon SC.

The 2013 Seat Leon SC was introduced at the beginning of 2013 on the occasion of the Geneva Motor Show. As a stock model, the three-door coupe’s 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine produces 184 HP (135 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque. After the guys at JE Design played some tricks on it, the engine is capable of generating 210 HP (154 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. This means that the upgraded Leon can sprint the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.9 seconds. However, the maximum speed has remained unchanged at 142 mph (228 km/h).

The 2013 Seat Leon SC is equipped with a carbon-look aerodynamic package containing a front spoiler, side skirts and a rear skirt insert. Both sides of the rear received twin stainless steel tailpipes while the ride height has been reduced by 30mm. Other available options are an adjustable KW coilover suspension, a set of Scorpio 18-inch alloys wrapped in high-performance rubbers. For some extra money some shadow silver multispoke rims can be offered. All these elements are compatible to the four-door Leon, too. And together they sum up a bit more than 1,000 Euros. So, if you wish to offer a present to your Seat, this can be a choice.
