We all know Ford and Shelby do a great job together and after the 2013 Shelby GT500, the specialists thought it is about time to come up with another great model. Before we move any further, please remember that the 2013 GT500 is capable of generating 662 horsepower, which apparently was not enough for the Americans.
Last year, during the New York International Auto Show, Shelby revealed the GT500-based 1000 and it seems that this year, at the same event, Shelby will release a new model. According to different sources, the new model will be the S/C capable of producing 1.200 horsepower. The new 2013 Mustang 1000 S/C receives power starting from a 5.4-liter engine to 5.8-liter. Everything works at perfect temperature thanks to the revised engine that retains the strengthened pistons, rods and crak of the old unit. The supercharger system and the extensive cooling also help a great deal.
We also have to mention that the new Shelby Mustang 1000 S/C received an adjustable suspension and more powerful brakes. Unfortunately there is no official information on the price, but we could suspect we are talking about the $154.995. There is no nformation on the performance of the model, for the moment, but the price indicates great figures. It almost indicates to be the most powerful street-legal car available, but still the price is a bit too high. You can buy a new GT500 or something similar and spend the rest of the money turning into a model just as fast. This procedure will help you save a lot of money and the most important thing of them all refers to the fact that the model will be tailored according to your specifically needs. The carmakers will only build 100 units, so chances are pretty slim to get one. These are all the info available on the model for the moment.
