Skoda Rapid Spaceback

We had the opportunity to see the new Skoda Rapid Spaceback a bit earlier this year during the 2013 edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show. This is the second body type of the Rapid the specialists have developed which is the gap between the Fabia and the Octavia. A lot of people will find it more practical in comparison to the sedan and nobody will be able to complaint about the exterior aspect either. All European customers interested in the model will be able to find it in available for sale starting with this month. In the photo gallery you will be able to see what we are talking about. In terms of interior, the model has 415/1.380 liters and it comes equipped with a double cargo floor in the boot.

This way the car will have two horizontal levels. Skoda specialists did not stop here and have even equipped the new sedan with different practical elements like waste bin in the side door, ice scraper in the fuel filler flap, multimedia holders, ticket holder and a lot more. When we meet the model for the first time, it will come with the Column-Electric Power Steering that in fact replaces the electro-hydraulic power steering for weight-saving purposes. At launch it will come equipped with four petrol and two diesel engines. Actually, the 1.6-liter units will be able of generating 88 horsepower and 103 horsepower respectively. The petrol engines are 3-cylinder 1.2-liter MPI ones that have as output 74 horsepower. 

There are also two 2-cylinder 1.2-liter TSI units capable of producing 84 horsepower and 103 horsepower respectively. Last on the list is a 1.4-liter TSI with 120 horsepower as standard. In terms of fuel consumption, the average can reach 3.8 liters per 100 km and the CO2 emission level reaches 99 g. In the photo gallery you can see what we are talking about.
