Ever since 2002 Smart and tuning specialists BRABUS have gathered forces and became a joint company. At the beginning of 2003 the first models were available on the market. Now, ten years later, the two companies developed an anniversary model equipped with very unique elements developed by the carmakers especially for the special model. Only last year smart-BRABUS built 10.000 units and this means they are doing a very good job and customers see that.
BRABUS is capable of developing fast and exclusive sports cars, but for sure they have more to offer. This year, the two will try to capture, in a good way, of course, the North American and the Chinese customers as well as in Europe the customization programs developed by the joined companies are already well-known and successful among European customers. When it comes to the customization of the interior and exterior of a model for the German market, the price starts at EUR2.999. The tuners include an exterior color depending on the taste of the customer or exclusive leather treatment for the interior.
The model developed for the anniversary will be built as a limited edition, so only 100 units will find an owner. Under the hood it will have an engine capable of developing 102 horsepower and 147 Nm of torque. This output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and to reach a top speed of 155 km/h. On the inside it features black leather with high-quality hand stitching. Standard features include the comfort and light package, electric power steering and heated seats, audio and navigation system and LED daytime driving lights and special Monoblock VII alloy wheels painted in matt grey. The tridion safety cell comes in black, silver or white, the fabric upholstery comes in design black and the interior contrast components in pearl black. In the end we can say that thanks to the fine materials, exclusive styling and amount of power, the smart ForTwo BRABUS Xclusive leaves nothing to be desired.
