Both the coupe and the cabriolet versions of the Smart ForTwo are now available in a special CityFlame edition that has a starting price established at EUR14.490 which can go up to EUR18.150 for a cabriolet version. The new car is a true spectacle of color. It has strong flame yellow body panels that will make a lot of people turn their heads around. For a stronger impact, the carmaker painted the tridion safety cell and alloy wheels in black. On the inside we have the same impact. The model comes with exclusive black seats in leather optic that have powerful yellow imitation leather inserts and feature yellow stitching. All these colors and color combinations meet the wishes of many customers for even greater individualization. As we can all see, the yellow paintwork has a particularly sporty and expressive effect in combination with the black tridion safety cell, the exclusive black-painted 3-double-spoke alloy wheels covered in 175 / 55 R 15 tires on the front axle and in 195/50 R15 on the rear one. Last, but not least we also have the black door mirror caps.
For the interior, the carmaker provides the instrument panel in leather look which is also enhanced by yellow stitching. There are also a lot of other elements like, for example a two-section knee pad in black-yellow leather look, a 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel with shift paddles and yellow stitching and specially produced floor mats embroidered with the word CityFlame.
According to the manufacturer, only 2400 vehicle of the Smart ForTwo CityFlame will be produced and all will feature as standard the soft-touch automatic gear program, electric windows, air conditioning with automatic temperature control and transparent panoramic roof with sunblind and so on. It will be available with a 52 kW MHD petrol engine or a 62 kW petrol engine.
