The automobile world is continuously submitted to change. There are many important brands that make the rules in the field and they are spread worldwide. There are some special car manufacturers that are more exclusive and every now and then they spice up the regular auto market. One of them is Equus Automobile, an American brand, which has just released the Bass 770.
The Equus Bass 770 mixes the retro look and the modern technology. Speaking about the looks, the vehicle takes some elements from the Ford Mustang, the Dodge Challenger and the Dodge Charger. We can say that it’s anything but original. Despite this, the vehicle as a whole has a quite attractive appearance, mostly because it borrows some of the 60s Mustang silhouette. Contrary to its retro style, inside the car we can find some great technology. There is a GPS, cruise control, airbags, audio system and tire pressure monitoring system.
The Equus Bass 770 is powered by a V8 6.2-liter supercharged engine borrowed from the Chevrolet ZR1 which generates 640 bhp (477 kW) and 605 lb-ft (819 Nm) of torque. Power is provided to the wheels via a dual-clutch six-speed gearbox. This hardware arrangement enables the Bass 770 to sprint the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in only 3.4 seconds and to reach a maximum speed of 199 mph (320 km/h). And once you have reached such a speed, you obviously need to brake at some point. And this can be safely done with the help of some Brembo carbon ceramic discs. The car also benefits of a magnetic suspension system that has some shock absorbers. Any future client will have to take out of his pocket between 250,000 USD and 300,000 USD.
