At the 2013 edition of the Salon Prive, British carmaker Ginetta will bring the new 2013 G60 and also the new G40R. The manufacturer has 50 years of experience in the automotive world, both in engineering and racing. Back in 2005 the company was taken over by racing driver Lawrence Tomlinson and six months later, the G50 was born. The next year, Tomlinson and the Ginetta factory Team LNT entered and won the GT2 class of the Le Mans hour race. In 2008 wan the Small Business of the Year, a title that came from the Motorsport Industry Association. This is when Tomlinson managed to show everyone its impact on the company. The team continues to be a very strong group today in racing world thanks to the G50 GT4 and G55 GT3 models.
The G40R is capable of reaching 62 mph in 5.9 seconds and the engine is capable of generating 200 BHP. It is not as powerful as the Ginetta G60, but it has the looks and specifications of a full on racing thoroughbred. Both models have been designed for a modern man and as it versatile and contemporary in fit. The model manages to offer the perfect characteristics whether at the circuit or even if we are talking about a road trip or the everyday life.
