The GTA Spano is a Spanish supercar built in Valencia by the company GTA Motor, a sister company to GTA Motor Competición. It began as a secret project in 2005, and was first released to the public in 2008 when the model was presented under the name of GTA Concept. The first units were manufactured and delivered at the end of 2010.
The latest model of GTA Spano has just been presented today in Geneva International Motor Show. The Spanish company will only manufacture 99 units of this supersports car which combines all the automobile technology with perfect sportsmanship, elegance and exclusivity.
GTA has developed a special heart for this car, a V10 8.4-liter engine offering 900 HP (662 kW) and an electronically-limited 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) which allows the supercar to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in less than 3 seconds, before reaching the highest speed of more than 217 mph (350 km/h). Power is transferred through a 7-speed automatically sequential transmission with paddle shifters or via a 7-speed manual sequential. All these things place the GTA Spano in the top 5 of the fastest cars that are sold in the world.
The tires for this car are exclusively created by Pirelli: 255/35 R19 front wheel and 335/30 on a 20” rear wheel. GTA Spano is also equipped with self-adjusting shock absorbers which can raise the car by up to 8 cm to avoid the inconvenience that bumpy roads have, and to facilitate access to garages. An AP Racing carbon-ceramic brake system with 380mm ventilated discs and six-piston calipers is guilty for stopping the car.
The interior of this car is made with the use of high quality materials such as leather and carbon fibre. It has a panoramic glass roof which inspires you a sense of freedom. Although it has a sporty look, it is elegant, luxurious and comfortable at the same time. One of the novelties is that the car lacks a central rear- view mirror, because it has been replaced with a camera that transmits data to an LCD screen applied on the dashboard. In addition to the perfect interior, there is also a perfect exterior which makes the car a unique and modern one.
