GTA Spano

The GTA Spano is a Spanish supercar manufactured in Valencia by the company GTA Motor, a sister company to GTA Motor Competicion. It was primarily a secret project of 2005, and it was first released to the public in 2008 when the model was presented under the name of GTA Concept. The first units were manufactured and delivered at the end of 2010. The latest model of GTA Spano has been presented at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show. And now, Goodwood Festival of Speed had it as a guest.

The 2013 GTA Spano is a revised form of the model which appeared in 2009. It is powered by  a V10 8.4-liter engine that generates 900 HP (662 kW) and an electronically-limited 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque which allows the supercar to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) distance in less than 3 seconds, before reaching the highest speed of more than 217 mph (350 km/h). Power is transferred either with the help of a 7-speed automatically sequential transmission with paddle shifters or through a 7-speed manual sequential. This entire configuration and all these figures place the GTA Spano in the top 5 of the fastest cars sold in the world.

The 2013 GTA Spano came out in a limited edition with 99 units being built. The car is made mostly of carbon fiber, having a considerably reduced weight of 2,976 lbs (1,350 kg). It has two types of Pirelli rubbers, 19 inch ones at the front and 20 inch ones at the back. The supercar also has enough goodies to please even the most impossible client, such as an electronically regulated wing, self- adjusting shock absorbers, a panoramic roof, an LCD that replaces the central mirror etc. All these summed up equal a sporty, elegant, luxurious and comfortable car.
