The 2012 Moscow International Auto Salon takes place right now. The Russian customers will have the opportunity to see for the first time the products Luxgen, the Taiwanese carmaker, has to offer. Until the 9th of September, because then the grand event will come to an end, Russian consumers will see a lot of achievements in the auto industry. Luxgen thought ahead of things and established a local subsidiary called Luxgen Russia. This is actually the first one outside Taiwan. The second quarter of next year will be the moment the Luxgen specialists will launch the Luxgen7 SUV. The model is a mid-size crossover that measures 4.8 meters in length, 1.93 meters in width and 1.76 meters in height.
Under the hood, the Luxgen7 SUV will feature a 2.2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine capable of developing 175 horsepower. To transfer the output to all four wheels, the engineers have offered a 5-speed automatic transmission. This is not all the specialists have to offer. Apparently the Taiwanese will also expand the lineup prepared for Russia. Before the end of next year, another two models will show their faces. One of them is the Luxgen5, a mid-sixe sedan. This vehicle receives power from a 2.0-liter petrol engine capable of developing 170 horsepower. To send the power to the wheels, the model uses a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The other model is the Luxgen CEO. Maybe you have already heard of it as it is formally known as the Luxgen MPV. The mid-size minivan is a special model which needs its own space. So far, during the 2012 Moscow International Auto Salon, Luxgen managed to receive a lot of positive feedback and this offers confidence that the future models will be received just all well.
