WaterCar Panther

We will now tell you something about the fastest amphibious car in the world, which by the way you can see in the photo gallery prepared for you below. Finally, after 14 years and a lot of tests, some successful some not, the WaterCar Panther is here and available for order. The company told us that their specialists have worked many hours trying to obtain the results we can enjoy today. We have to admit that the model remind us a lot of the Jeep Wrangler equipped with a wide body kit and other design elements borrowed from the vehicle. The new model uses a bespoke light weight chromyl chassis which was developed to fit into the composite hull using edge epoxy adhesion technology. The engineers have tried developing a hull / body together with big fiberglass bits. In terms of engine, the engineers have made a very strange, but understandable choice.

The new vehicle receives power from a 3.7-liter V6 engine capable of generating 250 horsepower which can also be an outboard motor. It activates either the rear wheels or the Panther Jet water propulsion system. The switch procedure is made using the 4-speed manual transmission. The Panther, because it is very light, sliding under the 3.000 lbs mark. The new device can come with two top speeds. On land it can reach more than 80 mph on land and 44 mph, which is quite impressive while in boat mode. In this mode, the wheels retract and it takes around 15 seconds. We are not sure if the mode is called BOAT, yet, but they should because it works fine. For now there is no available information on the price of the Panther. Please check out the photo gallery we have prepared for you.
