Modified Subaru WRX at SEMA

Subaru will present for the first time two new models at the SEMA Show, but ahead of their debut, the specialists have allowed us to take a quick look at their brand new Subaru WRX and WRX STI special editions. On the outside, both cars are covered in orange and black paint and features different black accents on the wheels, body stripes and mirrors. The Special Editions will receive black exterior graphics. Only 300 units will see the light of the day. To be more precise, they will build 200 WRX sedans and 100 WRX STI sedans.

The first one has the dark interior trim. The STI version includes front fog lamps. The Special Edition orange interior includes stitching on the seats and doors and shift boot, but also specially made orange trimmed floor mats. Subaru will offer the WRX and WRX STI special editions for same in the spring of next year. The two will receive power from Boxer engines developed by the carmaker which will enable them to develop 265 horsepower and 305 horsepower respectively. The Subaru WRX Special edition will produce 244 lb. ft. of torque and will feature as standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.

The other model, the Subaru WRX STI Special Edition is capable of offering a real rally experience with the 305 horsepower produced by the Boxer engine. All the output is being transferred to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The engineers have also offered exclusive Multi-Mode Driver Controlled Center Differential of the Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
