It is now almost a year since Subaru offered the regular XV Crosstrek for the North American market. The specialists have managed to sell around 45.000 units after the launch. Now, time has come for us to see the price of the new Hybrid version of the tall-riding hatchback. Actually, if we think about it, this is in fact the first-ever production of a hybrid vehicle for the Japanese manufacturer. The ones interested in the model have the opportunity to select from the base version of the Hybrid which has an established price of $25.995 and $26.820 including destination and delivery. The second option refers to a well-equipped Hybrid Touring that has a starting price of $29.295 or $30.120 including destination and delivery charges.
The standard model comes with different elements like, for example, a high-grade color multi-function display with 4.3-inch screen, automatic climate control system, chrome exterior door handles, upgraded instrument cluster and power moon roof. Next on the list we have The Touring version that comes with a touch-screen navigation system and leather-trimmed seating. In terms of power plant, the new Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid comes equipped with a 2.0-liter boxer engine capable of generating 148 horsepower. All this output is being transferred to the wheels through a CVT transmission that also has one electric motor that has a capacity of around 10 kW. In terms of fuel consumption, the carmaker mentions 31 mpg on a combined cycle and 34 mpg on the highway, which is quite impressive.
