Suzuki Jimny facelift

Everyone has heard of the Suzuki Jimny compact 4x4 model. It seems that the carmaker plans to offer some improvements in terms of styling and next we will present some of them. The specialists wanted to modernize the overall appearance of the car, but in the same time maintain the long established tough and capable reputation the model managed to obtain. Engineers have modified the design of both the exterior and interior of the car, but took into consideration all the things mentioned above. In the UK there are more than 20.000 proud owners of Suzuki Jimny.

To be more precise, the design modifications refer to a new front bumper and grille design. The bonnet has a new shape and incorporates central air intake. This modification is the result of a slight increase in overall length of 30 mm. Even so the Suzuki Jimny continues to be the most compact SUV on sale found on the British market. In terms of interior, designers have provided a new seat fabric trim for the SZ3. The SZ3 and SZ4 model have now new design front and rear headrests. Clients can choose a Breeze Blue metallic paint now offered as optional which costs GBP399. The first Jimny was offered for sale in 1998 and since then it managed to attract more and more loyal customers.

Under the hood it hides a 1.3-liter alloy 16-valve engine with variable valve timing capable of providing great fuel economy and lively performance. The output reaches 85 PS and 81 lb. ft. of torque offering flexible driving which is very important for a successful SUV. If the model is equipped with the manual gearbox, the fuel consumption on a combined cycle is 39.8 mpg and 38.7 mpg if it uses an automatic one. The CO2 emission level reaches 162 g/km in the first case and 167 g/km in the second one.
