Japanese carmaker Toyota has developed the 2013 Toyota Verso. In the gallery below you can see pictures of the facelift version and at a first look the difference between this version and the outgoing one is only the sharper design. In fact, it is a lot more than this. The carmaker managed to change 470 parts on the new model Verso and according to the specialists these are normal upgrade modifications the car had to handle. On the outside, the major change refers to the newly styled bumper, fenders and also headlamps which contain the LED daytime running lights. You can also see door mirrors that integrate turn signal lights. The customer will also get a choice of two new alloy wheels. At the back of the car it has a new bumper design that contains a low level diffuser and the tail lamp clusters are available in different colors.
The Japanese carmaker also offers three choices in terms of exterior finishes. On the inside the new 2013 Toyota Verso Compact MPV contains new trim detailing, upholstery fabrics and colors. The door trim, armrest and also the steering wheel are covered in Nappa leather and the upper glove box is finished in soft to touch material. The carmaker does not offer any modifications when it comes to space. With all the three rows in place, the luggage volume measures 155 liters and when the last row of seats is folded, this capacity increases to 440 liters. In terms of standard equipment, Toyota offers a 6.1-inch, full color, touch screen interface for the multimedia system which comes as standard on all trims. The new Toyota Verso Compact MPV will be offered with a choice of five engines. Both the diesel and the petrol units will be a bit modified to improve fuel consumption and the CO2 emissions.
The lineup includes two petrol engines, a 1.6-liter engine capable of developing 130 horsepower and a 1.8-liter capable of developing 145 horsepower and three diesel units, a 2.0-liter that has as output 124 horsepower and a 2.2-liter available in two states of tune capable of generating 148 horsepower and 175 horsepower. The model also features a retuned suspension, revised electric power steering, improved body rigidity and the interior noise was also reduced.
