The Toyota Vitz GRMN Turbo has just been introduced to the Japanese market. It represents a new step in Toyota’s strategy to satisfy each client from as many countries as possible. Now it is the brand’s origin country’s turn. Japan has already been prepared for this edition by a previewing concept presented at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
The Toyota Vitz GRMN Turbo is a three door hatchback turned into a quite modern vehicle. It is equipped with an aggressive front bumper, updated side skirts and a big rear diffuser. The car rides on a set of 17 inch BBS aluminum wheels. It also has LED infused headlights and the sports exhaust system gives the Toyota a sportier look. The car comes either in Black Mica paint or in Super White II paint scheme. On the inside the future client can enjoy the sports seats, updated instrumentation, a three spoke steering wheel with red contrast stitching, special floor mats and alloy pedals.
The Toyota Vitz GRMN Turbo is powered by a 1.5-liter engine equipped with a turbocharger which allows it to generate 152 HP (112 kW) and 206 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque. It is linked exclusively to a five-speed manual transmission. The vehicle is stopped by some high performance brakes. The Vitz comes out as a limited edition. Two hundred units will be manufactured and the pricing begins at ¥2,700,000 ($27,910 / €20,985 / £18,015). The Vitz GRMN Turbo conveys the joy of driving, from normal roads to circuits and it is a nice vehicle for the most emanding persons.
