Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet Karmann

Volkswagen, the German company, is one of the world’s top automobile manufacturers and the most important car maker in Europe. In 2012, VW increased the number of vehicles delivered to customers to 9.276 million (while in 2011 it was 8.265 million), this meaning a 12.8 percent share of the world passenger car market. It targets especially the middle class, so this could be their strongest point. The company certainly doesn’t lack imagination and new projects that are meant to please the fans. A new Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet Karmann special edition has just been revealed.

The Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet Karmann special edition is a tribute brought to the already legendary car maker, Wilhelm Karmann GmbH. The vehicle rides on a set of 17-inch Porto-style alloy wheels. It is also distinguished by a chrome trim. The inside of the car is equipped with two-tone sport seats, a leather covered steering wheel and gray contrasting stitching.

The Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet Karmann special edition features Karmann branded sill plates, some chrome accents, as well as a performance audio system, a wind deflector and a park distance warning system. More engine configurations will be available, varying from 105 HP (77 kW) to 160 HP (118 kW). The Karmann can already be ordered, with a cost of €27,275 in Germany.
