German carmaker Volkswagen has announced the introduction of the Golf VII Estate and as it turns out, the model has a starting price of GBP17.915 which means it is GBP765 more expensive than the hatchback. The new Estate is available in S, SE and GT trim levels and come with the same high levels of equipment, safety and refinement. The cargo space has been increased from 505 liters to 605 liters. The VW Golf hatchback has a 380 liter cargo volume. The new Golf Estate has a cargo volume of 1.620 liters. So that you know, the rear-seat backrests can be folded remotely through a release in the boot. You will also find a standard multi-level cargo floor, which ensures a flat load area and offers a roller-blind load space cover with net partition.

This can also be stored under the boot floor when not needed. The engineers have offered a 1.2-liter TSI which is capable of generating 85 PS. All this output is being sent to the wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. The other option in terms of power train is a 1.2-liter TSI capable of generating 105PS. The There is a 1.4-liter TSI unit capable of producing 122 PS and also a 1.4 TSI ACT which produces 140 PS which comes with a cylinder deactivation. The specialists have offered two options in terms transmission. To be more precise, we are talking about a -speed manual or a 7-speed DSG unit. There are also three diesel engines available as well. The first one is a 1.6-literTDI with 90 PS output paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. Next on the list we have a 1.6-liter TDI capable of generating 105 PS  with a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG unit and last, but not least there is a 2.0-liter TDI 150 PS that comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DSG transmission. The new model has as base MQB platform which offers more safety, comfort and convenience.
