Volkswagen Golf VII GTI by ABT

The International Geneva Motor Show from this week has the newest and the most amazing cars in the world. Volkswagen has just introduced the 2013 Golf GTI. And it is exactly this vehicle that ABT Sportsline started tuning.

The Germans from ABT Sportsline Company have recently presented in Geneva a tuned model of Golf VII. However, they seem to be unstoppable since they are now working on the new and fresh Golf GTI. The heart of the car remains unchanged. It is the same 2.0-liter turbo engine. The upgrade consists of 230 HP (162 kW) in the Performance variant which is going to reach 270 HP (199 kW). The ABT kit will increase output to 310 HP (228 kW). The package also comes with enlarged brakes and a VAQ electronically locking front differential. But it still needs testing on the road.

The VW Golf VII GTI powered by ABT is the perfect car for each driver. It has a fantastic look. Wearing white, red and aggressive black shades it can please every desire. There is a new front spoiler and front grille which illustrate the strength of this vehicle. ABT also provided Golf GTI with updated mirror caps and side skirts, and also a new rear skirt insert and trunk lid attachment. The four-pipe exhaust system we find at the back of the car is a typical ABT design element. With an updated suspension kit the car sits on new sets of 18 or 19 inch alloy wheels that have an aggressive silverbullet look.

When it comes to engine technology, aerodynamics, sports wheels, exhaust systems, suspension or brakes, ABT Sportsline is a master of change. And these changes are certainly visible in the VW Golf VII GTI.
