Volkswagen Touareg X

Volkswagen is one of the most active and competitive companies in the world. Its Volkswagen Touareg is one of the most familiar mid-size SUV which has quite a lot of fans. The German brand manufactures the utility vehicle since 2002, at the Bratislava plant, and with every new generation success came instantly. The vehicle was named after the Tuareg people, a Berber speaking group in North Africa.

Volkswagen plans to introduce the new Touareg X to the U.S.A. as a celebration of the model’s 10th anniversary. The Touareg X borrows many elements from the Touareg TDI Clean Diesel Lux. The thing that mostly emphasizes the vehicle is the Moonlight Blue Pearl exterior which makes you think about the infinity of the sky watching over us. The SUV also received some new 19 inch Moab style alloy wheels.

Volkswagen also refreshes the inside of the Touareg. Some Vienna leather seats, a black headliner and engineered ebony wood trim provide a more elegant aspect to the cabin. The vehicle is equipped with illuminated sill plates and faux aluminum pedal covers, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and GPS navigation. The SUV is still powered by the same 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 engine that generates 240 bhp (179 kW) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque. This is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system. U.S.A will receive only 1,000 units and the costs of acquisition begin at $56,170.
