Volkswagen Transporter T5 by Hartmann

Hartmann is a German tuning company which not only makes good things better, but more than that, it makes them unique. They focus on refining vans by adding every necessary thing to create sporty or luxurious products, depending on the request. And since Germany is an impressive provider of great cars, we can say that the staff at Hartmann has where to choose whatever they please. And that’s how they chose the Volkswagen Transporter T5 as basis for their new project.

Hartmann teamed up with Vansports and together they have equipped the Volkswagen Transporter with the 2.0-liter TDI engine which used to have an output of 140 bhp (104 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) and now it increased to 166 bhp (124 kW) and 395 Nm (291 lb-ft). A similar upgrade is available for the 2.0-liter BiTDI engine which increases output from the stock model 179 bhp (133 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) to 212 bhp (158 kW) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft).

Hartmann equipped the Volkswagen Transporter T5 with a stainless steel exhaust system with to evacuations on the right. The car has also been brought closer to the ground with the help of a sport suspension that has lowered it with 35 mm. The van rides on a set of 20 inch VEST-3 alloy wheels wrapped in 275/35 R20 rubbers. There are some other notable elements such as a new front spoiler, rocket panels, rear skirt, new floor mats and aluminum pedals. In conclusion, we might say that Hartmann added some attitude to this T5 van.
