Alfa Romeo Giulietta facelift

Style and excellence are the epithets that characterize Alfa Romeo as one of the most desired brands in Europe and why not in the entire world, although it is not suited for everyone, or we should say not anyone is suited for the Alfa Romeo. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is one of the symbols of the Italian brand. Its history dates back to 1954 when it was first introduced as a coupe. Now, the Italian company reveals a facelift 2014 model of the Giulietta on the occasion of the Frankfurt Show.

As a matter of fact, Alfa Romeo could have done more with this Giulietta facelift. Differences are practically hard to be noticed. The experts working in the company slightly modified the front grille, as well as the fog lights, which are matched to some chrome surrounding elements. The designers added some new exterior colours, the Moonlight Pearl, the Anodizzato Blue and the Bronze. There are also new alloys available, varying in size from 16 to 18 inches.

Changes are more visible inside the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The vehicle is now equipped with new seats and a different trim, a high quality Uconnect infotainment system containing a 5- or 6.5-inch touchscreen display, an upgraded steering wheel and new finishes on the dashboard, door handles and panels. More versions of the car such as Style, Visibility, Comfort, Lusso, Premium, Business and QV Sportiva will be available for further customization.  The 2014 facelift Giulietta is powered by a 2.0-liter JTDM 2 engine that generates 150 HP (110 kW) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque at 1,750 rpm. On the whole, we have a perfect car, but maybe fans expected a bit more from this facelift.
