They did not make any noise to unveil the new 2014 MiTo. Of course, we are talking about Alfa Romeo and their new model. On the 22nd of June, Alfa Romeo dealerships across Italy will open for a special event dedicated to the 2014 version of a model destined to continue leading its class. During the first quarter of this year, orders were up 34 % for the MiTo. The starting price has been established at EUR14.800 for the 70 horsepower Impression 1.4-liter, but it can go up to EUR22.250 for the top-of-the-range Quadrifoglio Verde powered by a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo Petrol capable of generating 170 horsepower. The new model comes with five trim levels, ten body colors, including the new Anthracite Grey.
Customers can choose from a wide range of engine versions which are all efficient, reliable and eco-friendly. There is a 0.9-liter Turbo TwinAir engine debuting on the Alfa Romeo MiTo for the first time to complete the range which now counts two turbo diesel engines and five petrol ones. The 2014 range also introduces a lot of new look elements like for example, the grille which has been redesigned and complemented by a chrome-plated frame. Moving on, we have to mention the burnished finishing of the front light clusters on all versions and the new Anthracite Grey body color.
For the interior of the Alfa Romeo MiTo, the specialists have offered sophisticated elements like, for example, three new upholstery combinations to choose from. The new engine will be capable of generating 105 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. In terms of fuel consumption, you should know that the model registers 4.2-liters per 100 km and 99 g/km CO2 emission level. The output enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.4 seconds and to reach a top speed of 184 km/h.
