For Audi, the car manufacturer headquartered in Germany, sustainability is the most important aim in order to continue functioning economically, protect the environment and guarantee a bright future for generations to come. The four rings brand is one of the top and, at the same time, one of the most famous car producers in the world. Starting with SUVs, sedans, coupes they’ve got everything a respectable company needs. And recently they have teamed up with the Italian furniture designer Poltrona Frau. Together they have designed a special edition for the ultimate generation Audi A8.
As you have already assumed, the modifications occur only on the inside of the Audi A8. The most elegant element included in the change, is the aniline leather upholstery that has an Agatha cognac hue. This part was done by Poltrona Frau and is particularly soft and natural looking. The central parts of the seats are governed by diamond quilting. The inlays are made of fine grain olive ash natural silver brown. The same silver shade is also found on the stitching, on the door top shoulders, steering wheel and on the instrument panel. This last one has also received Nappa leather on the upper part. The back shelf is wearing cognac brown Alcantara, while the carpeting gets the same grey influence.
The 2014 Audi A8 Exclusive Concept will only come with the 500 HP (368 kW) W12 engine and in the long wheelbase version. Production will be limited to 50 units which will be delivered starting next March. Even the standard version of the Audi flagship model, the A8, impresses with its uncompromisingly high standard of workmanship. In the cabin, its craftsmanship character can be experienced with all five senses now. Elegance is the perfect synonym for this entire project.
