Anyone would be right to say that the Germans are in the top of the best car manufacturers in the world. Well, they have also got some of the most competitive tuning companies, for which more is not enough and they try to push the limits of creativity to the highest possible level. Such a company is B&B Tuning and it has just created a tuning package for the already famous Audi TT, the third generation version.
The new Audi TT is relatively new on the market so not too many tuning companies have been attracted to upgrade it, not just yet. B&B Tuning decided to work on an Audi TT powered by a 2.0 TFSI engine which outputs 230 HP (169 kW) and 370 Nm (272 lb-ft) of torque. The tuner created a stage 1 kit (€1,198) and they will increase power to 300 HP (221 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) thanks to electronic injection tweaks and a minor increase of charger pressure. There is a more advanced part of the tuning, called Stage 1S which offers improvements to the intake paths and air guides is such a way that power is increased to 310 HP (228 kW) and 435 Nm (321 lb-ft).
B&B also developed a stage 2 kit that increases power to 326 HP (240 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft). For this to happen the tuner equipped the car with a new exhaust system with sport catalyzer together with a charger pressure boost by 0.25 bar. This package also reduces the temperature of the engine and exhaust turbocharger while increasing performances.
The best part in B&B’s tuning package is stage number 3 which is priced at €9,950. This boosts power to 360 HP (265 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) due to a new turbocharger with new charger air cooler, sports exhaust and other upgrades. For some additional €1,295 the German tuner offers an oil cooling system. New sports spring sets cost around €298 and reduce the ride height by 30mm front and 25mm rear. Other goodies might be the stabilizers (priced from €498), a set of 20-inch wheels wrapped in 265/30 R20 rubbers, four or six-piston brake calipers and a €1,398 special exhaust system increasing power by an extra 14 HP (10 kW). A racing exhaust is also offered, this adding 20 HP (15 kW). So if you feel the need to drive a more imposing and furious Audi TT you can easily choose between the stages offered by B&B.
