BMW M3 and M4 by Vorsteiner

Germans seem to be making the rule when it comes down to the auto field. A German brand is more than enough when talking about perfection. However, the Americans from Vorsteiner seem to have many things to offer to German cars and they manage to add a bit more of charm to them. The famous tuning company has just developed the GTS tuning program for the BMW M3 and M4.

This is the first time that Vorsteiner takes on the challenge of upgrading a BMW M model. For the time being, the GTS means a new front add-on spoiler made from carbon fiber as well as a rear diffuser featuring a single monocoque carbon fiber construction manufactured in California. The program also contains a custom livery foil kit and 90mm stainless steel dual walled exhaust tips featuring a brushed or diamond black finish. The tuner can also equip the M vehicles with a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels featuring a matte black finish. They are shod in Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubbers sized 275/30/20 at the front and 295/30/20 for the rear.

The BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe keep the same powering unit, unmodified by Vorsteiner. It is the inline-six 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine developing 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft). If the cars are equipped with the standard six-speed manual transmission, they will sprint the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.3 seconds. With the optional seven-speed M DCT, however, the sprint time is reduced by 0.2s. The maximum speed is limited as standard to 155 mph (250 km/h) but the optional M Driver's Package raises the peak speed to 174 mph (280 km/h).
