BMW M6 Gran Coupe with 6-speed manual transmission

According to BMW, the 2014 model year 6-Series range of the coupe, convertible and four-door Grand coupe will receive some very visible updates for the North America market. To be more precise, we are talking about the addition of a 6-speed manual transmission available for all M6 body styles. For example, the 2014 model M6 Coupe, Convertible and Grand Coupe will receive this new addition as a no-cost extra on all three models. The ones developing the transmission are the specialists from BMW M GmbH and here we have to mention a rev-match function in the EFFICIENT and SPORT modes of operation. This can also be switched off by selecting the SPORT+ mode.

Next we have to talk about an M Carbon Ceramic Brake option available on all M6 which provide weight savings of 42.8 pounds as well as improved performance. The brake calipers were painted in a gold color which makes them very easy to spot. For the 640i, 650i and M6 in all body styles, the revised user interface includes 3D elements and also an improved navigation system. So, apparently, the xDrive is now available as an option on the 2014 BMW 640i Gran Coupe.

Last, but not least, the Germans are presenting a new version of the 6-Series Convertible called Frozen Brilliant White Edition which is actually available as a rear wheel drive 650i or an all-wheel drive 650i xDrive. The carmaker will only build 100 units of the version. The prices were established at $106.695 and $110.095 respectively. The special edition soft top model will be available starting this April and it has a BMW Individual Frozen Brilliant White Metallic exterior matte finish. The interior also received great upgrades.
